Ramon Monegal

Ramon Monegal is a niche perfume house with a rich history, tracing its roots back four generations to the founding of Myrurgia in 1916. This prominent Spanish perfume dynasty was known for creating fragrances that captivated the Spanish court and extended their reach internationally. Ramon Monegal himself joined the family business in 1978 and became known for his innovative approach, developing the concept of "olfactory image". After Myrurgia was acquired by Puig, he chose to pursue his own vision, founding his eponymous house in Barcelona in 2009.

Today, Ramon Monegal stands as an independent perfumer who composes each fragrance himself, emphasizing the quality of materials and an almost calligraphic attention to detail. His creations, such as Flamenco and Impossible Iris, are seen as combining lyricism, intensity, and balance, with a distinctive Mediterranean identity.
