  Spanish perfumer Ramon Monegal created a scent inspired by the butterfly ("mariposa" in Spanish), and when we spray it, the connection becomes clear: Pure Mariposa is a monarch butterfly, orange wings flashing against a blue sky on a summer afternoon. The heart is a giant, abstract bouquet of flowers, and it's surrounded by citrus, grass, and warm basenotes that add to the abstraction.
