Did you ever smell snow? Or pure ice rippling off a glacier? That hard to describe purity and freshness that smells translucent and metallic at the same time? Well here is your chance to get really close to that smell in a bottle. Enlightenment is a woody yet ultimately aromatic scent, clean and crisp, that is inspired by pictures taken in La Foux d'Allos, France, a ski resort in the French Alps, where photographer and perfumer Christèle Jacquemin was invited to present her artistic practice and decided to stay to take pictures in the snow of the white-immaculate mountains in her view. The beauty of this hyper-realistic fragrance is just that, how real it actually is. *Over 90% of the ingredients are of natural origin.
Notes include white sage, bay Saint Thomas, elemi, Sichuan pepper, orris, styrax, starch needles, black spruce needles, and sea fennel.
- Christèle Jacquemin, a photographer, perfumer, and traveler, embraces life through an artistic practice. Translating images that bamboozle and scents that instantly project into a possible faraway. Learn more about Christèle Jacquemin in our BLOG.
