  Desert Rose pulls both the iconic flower and the arid landscape of its name into a soft, warm focus. We often see rose dressed up in weighty base notes and sweets, but Desert Rose is unencumbered by that usual cast of characters. Instead, we get a rose that perfectly reflects Dame's mission to create modern American perfumes. It's an airy, earthy, rose surrounded by a bouquet of flowers that feel as though they were plucked from the hot earth only moments before. • Dame Perfumery Scottsdale is the creation of Jeffrey Dame, a veteran of the fragrance industry. He collaborates on the project with his son, Cullen, a budding scent aficionado and artist, with whom he has built a new line of modern American perfumes.
