March is Women’s History Month, a month where we celebrate the vital role of women in American history. The 21 st of March is also National Fragrance Day, a day where we celebrate all things fragrant. Blending these two together, it was kismet to curate a collection of all female perfumers that fearlessly charged into the often-secretive society of perfumery and made their mark. A gloriously fragrant mark that is!
In the March Collection for Women, you’ll start your collection with Ivy League, a refreshingly green fragrance by Sandy Carr of Bluehill Fragrances that is inspired by the eight ivy league universities in the Northeast US. Hop over the pond to England for Over the Chocolate Shop by Sarah McCartney of 4160 Tuesdays for a dark cocoa fragrance that is rich and decedent and authentically chocolate. You’ll finish your collection at a family picnic in a meadow in 1976 where August Picnic, 1976 by Dawn Spencer Hurwitz of DSH Perfumes takes us back to one of her favorite childhood memories.
Each of the fragrances in this collection were selected by the perfumer for inclusion in this exceptional box because it held a special place in their hearts. Always inspiring, each one of these ladies rock the indie perfume world and it is our absolute honor to showcase them.
They’re gold. You’re gold. Enjoy the rush.
