Article: Three Perfumers. One Legendary Race.

Three Perfumers. One Legendary Race.
What happens when you ask three perfumers to capture the 24 Hours of Le Mans® in scent? You get three very different answers.
Some places have a smell you never forget.
At the 24 Hours of Le Mans®, that might mean hot pavement, leather, grass surrounding the circuit, the night air or simply the strange combination of smells that becomes attached to a memory.
But how do you turn all of that into perfume?
That was the challenge behind the Le Mans® fragrance collection. Rather than asking one perfumer to create three variations on the same idea, three perfumers were invited to interpret three different sides of the legendary endurance race.
The result isn't three fragrances that smell like a racetrack.
They're fragrances that explore what it feels like to be there.
La Passion: Vincent Ricord Captures the Adrenaline of Le Mans
The Scent: La Passion
The Perfumer: Vincent Ricord
The Feeling Captured: Adrenaline

Vincent Ricord didn't have to imagine the world of motorsport. He grew up around it.
When creating La Passion, Ricord focused on something every driver understands: the delicate balance between speed, control and danger.
And the fragrance starts exactly where our story should—the starting line.
Grapefruit peel and lavender create an immediate flash of freshness. But then things get interesting.
Intense caramel and vanilla arrive next.
Caramel? At Le Mans®?
Stay with us.
Instead of turning the fragrance into dessert, that sweetness creates heat. It feels darker and more charged against the leather, ambroxan, moss and ambered woods underneath it.
That contrast is what makes La Passion work. Freshness becomes warmth. Warmth becomes leather. And suddenly something gourmand feels surprisingly at home on a racetrack.
It's the anticipation before the flag drops, bottled.

Le Mythe: Félix Deschamps Captures the Experience of the Race
The Scent: Le Mythe
The Perfumer: Félix Deschamps
The Feeling Captured: The Experience

Félix Deschamps had an advantage when creating Le Mythe.
He'd actually been there.
Deschamps attended the 24 Hours of Le Mans® and describes it as an intensely sensory experience—the engines, the speed and the almost magical atmosphere around the circuit. He has also spoken about spending both day and night beside the track, hearing the cars roar through the darkness.
So rather than imagining Le Mans® from afar, he went back to a memory.
Le Mythe opens with tart grapefruit and rhubarb alongside cool aquatic notes. Lavender and sage push the fragrance in a greener, more aromatic direction.
And then comes the note we couldn't stop talking about:
Parsley.
Yes, parsley.
An infusion of parsley appears in the heart of the fragrance, giving all that citrus and aromatic freshness an unexpected green edge.
It's a great reminder of why looking beyond the familiar perfume notes can be so interesting. Something as ordinary as an herb from the kitchen can become completely different in the hands of a perfumer.
Vetiver, patchouli and oakmoss eventually ground everything, giving the fragrance a classic, earthy backbone.
If La Passion is the anticipation before the race, Le Mythe puts us right in the middle of it.

Le Style: Jérémy Sabater Captures the Elegance of Le Mans
The Scent: Le Style
The Perfumer: Jérémy Sabater
The Feeling Captured: Elegance

Le Mans has never been only about who crosses the finish line first.
There's history. Design. Engineering. Tradition.
And unmistakable style.
Perfumer Jérémy Sabater is a motorsports fan himself, but instead of focusing on the raw power of the race, he looked toward its elegance.
Le Style begins with orange and bergamot warmed by cinnamon. Then white iris meets smooth tanned leather—a contrast that gives the fragrance much of its personality.
Iris can feel soft, powdery and polished. Leather brings structure.
Together, they work surprisingly well.
Cedar, musk and creamy sandalwood finish the composition, moving the fragrance even farther away from the track and toward the sophistication surrounding it.
Think less burning rubber.
More beautifully tailored racing jacket.

SAME RACE. THREE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORIES.
This is what makes the collection worth experiencing together.
Vincent Ricord gives us the adrenaline.
Félix Deschamps gives us the experience.
Jérémy Sabater gives us the style.
None of them tried to recreate the literal smell of a racetrack. Instead, each perfumer chose an emotion, a memory or a perspective and translated it into fragrance.
And that's one of the things we love most about perfume.
Give three perfumers the exact same subject and you'll rarely get the same answer.
Because fragrance isn't simply about what something smells like.
It's about what someone remembers.
What they notice.
And sometimes, what they want you to feel.
Three perfumers. Three perspectives. One legendary race. Shop The Le Mans® Collection, and feel the race for yourself.
