Is there anything more alluring than sun-soaked California in the 1960s? Come with us on a trip to Idyllwild, that small mountain town scented with lavender, citrus and soothing rhubarb tea. But you know it’s as much about the journey as the destination. That’s why you rented that cherry red Corvette, made to hug the curves of the PCH as the fresh, clean scent of Douglas fir and Ponderosa pine helps focus your thoughts.

As you turn onto the bumpy back roads, the sagebrush of Big Sur and cypress of Monterey float in, tickling your nose and your imagination. Here and there, you catch some smoke on the wind, lingering long after the fire has been extinguished. You find peace in this drive, almost as if you found your way home.

Notes  of this woody oriental include rhubarb tea, grapefruit, lavender, big sur sagebrush, cypress, fir needle, cardamom, woods, and oud musk.
