Though it’s inspired by osmanthus flowers, what we really adore about this sultry blend is the juxtaposition of the citrus notes of Sicilian bergamot and lemon tied to a green leafy twist. This combination gives it an aquatic feel that is clean, yet comforting, with a suede and cedar base.

• Ulrich Lang is a former L'Oreal executive who began creating his own perfume line in 2002. Lang is a longtime lover and collector of contemporary photography, and his scents are often conceptually inspired by the art of photography.
