A fragrance made out of a single ingredient called cetalox, Not a Perfume is clean, pure and unique. Usually used in perfumery as a base note, it plays the lead role here giving off an ambery, musky, wood aroma. Another advantage of this particular composition, is that it is entirely allergen free. What’s cetalox? An aroma molecule that was created to mimic ambergris, the rock-like substance that washes up the ocean’s shore from sperm whale regurgitation (yep, it’s sperm whale vomit). But in perfumery, ambergris is known as liquid gold for its naturally animalic and musky aroma, as well as its ability to bring intense staying power to a fragrance. Fun fact: Cetalox is hypoallergenic, so this fragrance is 100% allergen-free!
