Originally a limited-edition collaboration with Salt & Straw ice cream shops, the demand for this delicacy caused perfumer Josh Meyer to revisit the formula, and drop it into Imaginary Authors’ permanent line. While it is a gourmand, it’s unlike any you’ve ever smelled. The first unapologetically syrupy, creamy, waffley whiff lands in your nose and on your tongue at once. A salivating smile is impossible to resist. But then, up comes an equally creamy and prominent sandalwood that harmonizes with an almond sweet cream making the gourmand grounded, and the meditative woods caramelized. The customer in front of you has asked for extra cinnamon drizzle, and a downwind waft of sugared spice quickly passes your awareness as it escapes the bottle. Warm, cool, and wildly nostalgic, this is a place in time rather than any singular food. The buzz around this says the verdict is in. Everyone wants to be a kid again.
Notes include vanilla, salted caramel, heavy cream, sandalwood, orgeat, saigon cinnamon, and scoop shop.
