It's difficult to overstate our excitement over bringing you this London house, which has been creating some of the world's most deservedly hyped niche scents since 2002. Ormonde Jayne creates luxurious, elegant perfumes with specialty oils that aren't commonly used by other houses, and Ormonde Woman, which constructs a hypnotically beautiful fairytale of a forest around the unusual black hemlock absolute, is a perfect example. Ormonde Woman simply cannot be described any better than Tania Sanchez described it in her five-star review in Perfumes: The A-Z Guide when she described it as having "the haunting, outdoor witchiness of tall pines leaning into the night — a bitter oakmoss inkiness, a dry cedar crackle, and a low, delicious, pleading sweet amber, like the call of a faraway candy house. Lulling and unsettling in equal measure, and truly great." A thousand times yes. Notes include cardamom, coriander, grass, black hemlock, violet, jasmine absolute, vetiver, cedar, amber, and sandalwood.
Ormonde Jayne is the British luxury house created by Linda Pilkington in 2002.
