Inspired by the M.I.A. song "Sunshowers" (check out the video below), Neon Graffiti is neon colors on wet cement. The top is bursting with zesty citrus notes, a lush, green-leaf accord, and the spiciness of cardamom and fresh mint. The heart is filled with a field of flowers, and the base is an urban, gritty jungle. Notes include bergamot, grapefruit, cardamom absolute, cool mint, wet ivy accord, jasmine absolute, mimosa absolute, sunflower accord, cedarwood, incense, and ambrox.
Classically trained at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, Dana El Masri is inspired by songs that hold sentimental appeal for her. Her personal collection blends melodies of the past and the present through scent and music, crafting a playful symphony of fragrances influenced by her background as a singer and songwriter. Now back in Montreal, Dana continues to grow and evolve as a perfumer while sharing her love for music, culture, and scent on her blog www.thescentinel.com.
