Birch tar. That inky, smoldering, leathery material distilled from vapors of charring birch wood, a love it or leave it note. But, here, it’s completely flipped on its head, and given a cool dose of lambent wintergreen. The effect takes off all the bite, yet leaves all the beauty, leaving the note... yes, calming. Other swirls of green dance about, from fir and vetiver, and even the ultra-chill lavender makes an appearance to help show birch tar’s sensitive side. Spicy, smoky green hangs in the air until sweetened, resinous, and verdant earthiness from the pairing of oakmoss and tobacco give the perfect finale to an extremely surprising ride that brings core memory campfires right to your door. This one defies description and definitely calls for your own personal whiff.
