Rosendo Mateu

No. 7 Sample

  • This is a 2 ml spray sample. Find the full bottle here.

A fragrance in his first collection, each creation is formulated around three main ingredients and for No. 7, those are Indonesian patchouli, oud and vanilla. The olfactory journey begins with the softness and aquatic side of rose petals that mingle with jasmine for light heart notes. Then the fragrance envelops us with its enigmatic base of gourmandy Madagascan vanilla and the woody character of patchouli and ouds from Thailand and Laos. The final trail, whose power holds on to the skin, is oh-so cozy, comfortable and sexy, all in one sniff.

Notes include cardamom, floral notes, rose petal, clove, cypriol, jasmine, agarwood, amber, benzoin siam, patchouli, and vanilla.

  • Author of more than 80 fragrances created for prestigious Houses since 1968, Rosendo Mateu, of Catalan origin, decided to found his own house in 2010. Alongside his son Joan, he created his first collection of 5 fragrances: a collection in which each creation is based on three main ingredients that are sublimated. In 2019, he launches his Black Collection, a nod to the Orient, featuring bergamot, vanilla and sandalwood; these magnified by elegant opaque black lacquered bottles.
