La Serenissima, the historical nickname for the Republic of Venice translating to “The Most Serene”, is a sparkling nod to the calming effect of the Venetian waters. Blood orange, pomelo, cedrat and bergamot catch the morning light before Prosecco bubbles drift through salty air, magnolia and wild mint. Driftwood, ambergris and alder wood eventually pull you closer to the water, where citrus brightness gives way to something mineral, woody and windswept. If Venice had a summer dress code, this might be it.
