Originally created upon a friend’s request in 2002, Sailors launched in 2018 to represent both sensuality and friendship around the globe. The twist here is Laudamiel’s remix of Declaration for Men by Jean Claude Elena for Cartier Parfums in 1998. Looking to add sexed up, more dramatic elements to it, the base notes were pushed with a myriad of molecules: Cashmeran®, Javanol®, Ambox®, Wolfwood®, and Helvetolide®. But the dance here is the freshness that remains throughout with, not just one, but 5 grapefruit notes and a touch of mandarin and molecular violet leaves. A sexy aquatic, clean-spiced fragrance, you’ll embark into a suede-like, suggestive base. Who’s ready to set sail in deep blue waters under the midnight sky?
Notes include Caraway, neroli, grapefruit, artemisia, birch, mandarin orange, violet leaf, coriander, bergamot, bitter orange, lemon, iris, cardamom, juniper, cinnamon, orris root, ginger, pepper, jasmine, cashmeran®, sandalwood, cedar, seaweed, leather, tea, tahitian vetiver, amber, oakmoss, cinnamon leaf and cloves.
