In 1994, Calvin Klein launched CK One as the first fragrance marketed as “unisex” and it changed how we viewed gender labeling of fragrances. It allowed us to think and see that a fragrance can be worn (and accepted) by all genders. This is very true for Reed of Olfactory NYC. Harry Freemont is the perfumer here (also the perfumer of CK One along with Alberto Morillas) and that unisex, wearable, loveable signature can be seen with Reed. This rose-chypre has a cool, green vibe to it, as clearwood, a soft cleaner version of patchouli gives it a woody note that remains light and transparent keeping this fragrance clean with sage undertones.
Notes include clearwood, rose, sage.
