As autumn creeps in, a new season begins in the vineyard called “Harvest.” Excitement is at its peak this time of year. It is the where the art in the vineyard collides with the art of the winemaker in the cellar. Grapes are picked from the vines, sometimes by hand and are then cleaned, sorted, pressed and poured into stainless steel tanks or carefully selected oak barrels.
During Harvest, the air is crisp and the autumn leaves are transforming into bright red and orange hues. Bonfires light the night skies, perfect for cozying up with a warm glass of spiced mulled wine from the last harvest season. Maasaï Mara brings you those warm smells and soft feels of an autumn harvest in the vineyards.
Notes include blue chamomile, bitter orange, artemisia, dried fruits, plum, rose, spanish benzoin, labdanum, buchu, cinnamon, patchouli, and vanilla.
