If you’re looking for a tuberose fragrance that has a carnal fleshiness feel to it, this is not it. Laudamiel expertly allows your nose to smell the entire flower, from root to petal, flower to earth, in an organic and vegetal form. This green floral fragrance starts off light and airy with the dewiness of fresh blossoms lingering in the air. With time, it moves into showcasing the flowers dusty roots, made possible by organically certified lavandin LMR with a dash of real, organically-certified tequila; a nod to the tuberose plant that shares the same family as the agave plant. The twist here is that this fragrance evokes the reality of being in a tuberose field, yet is itself a tuberose fantasy since it does not contain any natural tuberose extract. It’s jasmine absolute from Egypt that gives you that soft, dewy, petal-like perfection. Ah, that’s much better.
Notes include lavender, tequila, egyptian jasmine, ambrette (musk mallow), angelica, tagetes, patchouli, vetiver and oakmoss.
