Lilac Love

Now for three words we never thought we’d put together: lilac plus cocoa. But here we are, spraying our wrists with the cocoa-dusted lilac of Amouage’s imagination, and it’s marvelous. Lilac Love settles into a sweet puff of vanilla and warm cream that keeps tricking you into thinking someone magical just walked into the room before realizing that—surprise!—that someone is you. Don’t you love when that happens? Lilac Love is an interesting departure from the Middle East-influenced scents we usually see from Amouage, and it's a refreshing change of pace. Notes include jasmine, rose, gardenia, peony, heliotrope, orris, cocoa bean, tonka, sandalwood, patchouli, and vanilla.
    • In 1983, the Sultan of Oman established Amouage in the hopes of reviving the Omani tradition of perfumery. The perfumes often feature traditional Middle Eastern perfume materials. In 2006, Amouage brought on creative director Christopher Chong, who oversaw a complete reinvention of the house and helped to expand the house's international appeal.
