For hundreds of thousands of years—and probably longer—humans have looked to the sky for answers. How did we get here? What else is out there? What's the point?
Good luck finding answers to those questions, particularly the last one. But the sun, the moon, and the stars have provided endless inspiration for scientists, poets, and dreamers. We also use them to mark the time in our days and set our moods by their appearance or disappearance. Fils de Dieu by État Libre d'Orange. The full name, Fils de Dieu du Riz et Des Agrumes, translates into "Son of God, rice, and citrus," and the perfumer says he took divine inspiration from the warmth of the Philippines. The list of notes reads like a foodie's dream, but this isn't a gourmand; instead, imagine all of the raw ingredients laid out in a sunny market in southeast Asia, mingling with fresh-squeezed oranges and warm air. Me, Myself & I by Ego Facto. If you've never asked yourself " Why has nobody thought to combine tuberose, vetiver, and hemlock before now?" then get ready to find yourself pondering the question. Me, Myself & I is as luminous as a full moon in a night sky with just the right shade of smoky darkness. Read more.
Romantina by Juliette Has A Gun. Romantina is a beckoning scent that starts with a dazzlingly pretty floral open and deepens over time into that signature Juliette Has A Gun base: warm, comforting, slightly sweet, and impossible to ignore. Read more.
