Pamplemousse

Pamplemousse, or "grapefruit" in French, is perhaps the best perfume of its kind. Why? We don't think anybody can say it better than Chandler Burr, the New York Times bestselling author and former NYT scent critic: "Crisp, luscious, edible, tangy grapefruit, becoming slightly darker as it evolves into a bergamot/bitter-orange aspect, like a shard of glass under halogen with someone very gradually dimming the lights. We simply move from sparkling to hypnotic." See? Enough said. Notes include bergamot, mandarin, pink grapefruit, white grapefruit, Italian neroli, Amalfi lemon, pomelo, green tea, and sandalwood.

  • Pamplemousse was inspired by the sweet, tart simplicity of the grapefruit. Dawn describes it as "alive with light and air, of golden dawn ... A bubbly tonic, all smiles and personality."
