Jacquemin’s journeys captured in photos is her characteristic muse for her fragrances but Memory Lane is inspired by a different direction, by returning to her roots. Leaving her home at age 16, she traveled around the globe searching for purpose and meaning. Many years later, she decided to return home in search of peace for a place and time that still haunted her. Creamy meringue accord and oleoresin of green vanilla lay atop an aged myrrh resin that weaves together with animalic oud blanc and cypriol for a duality meant to reflect the ups and downs of the rollercoaster of life. The twist that we always love with Jacquemin’s work is when the spiced clove meets the leafy, green parsley. It’s the magic of this that transitions Memory Lane from herbal and aromatic to a lusciously warm and slightly sweet gourmand as it sits close on the skin. More than 90% of ingredients are of natural origin in this cozy and comforting herbal-gourmand infusion.
Notes include clove, cypriol (nagarmotha), magnolia flowers, myrrh, parsley, white oud (eaglewood crocodile), green vanilla, and meringue accord.
