Named for the title character of the 1944 novella from French writer Colette, Gigi is homage to the character’s beauty, mischievousness, audacity, and youth. Perfumer Anaïs Biguine channeled all of these qualities and translated them to olfactory form, capturing the essence of Gigi with a white bouquet of heady, bubbling sweetness that transforms over time into warm, soft refinement. Biguine's creation is a stroll through the Paris of 1900 in the Belle Époque, with the mischievous, playful Gigi as your guide. Notes: Freshly cut grass, orange blossom, neroli, tuberose, jasmine, blackcurrant, sandalwood, and white musk. Learn more in the Gigi "How to Smell" guide
  • When creating the world of Jardins D’Écrivains (Gardens of Writers), French perfumer Anaïs Biguine naturally combined two of her passions: gardens and literature. The perfumes, colognes, candles, and bath products in her line are all homage to her most beloved writers and literary characters, and each conveys the personalities behind the personas or the places where they lived and created their art. As she designs olfactory symbols of an era, character, or place, Biguine seeks out every relevant detail so that she, too, can tell a beautiful story. • "Gigi, as a character, is so charming—a young woman in an adult world—and full of naïveté, energy, and carelessness. She’s very spring-like. And Colette, the author, just loved white flowers, so I wanted to tell a story about a bouquet of white flowers from that period, with a youthful breath of blackcurrants added to the tuberose. I wanted her lightness, and this is how Gigi was born." —Anaïs Biguine, Jardins dÉcrivains
