This line of candles pulls together three things we love: glass from Ligne Blanche Paris, heavenly fragrance from Givaudan, and art work from iconic 1980s graffiti artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Notes feature fig.
Jean-Michel Basquiat began his career as a graffiti artist on the Lower East Side of New York City in the late 1970s. His neo-expressionist and primitivistic style focused on suggestive dichotomies--war and peace, wealth and poverty--and political issues. His work caught the attention of Andy Warhol, and the two artists collaborated on several projects that left an indelible mark in the world of modern art.
