And thanks to perfumer Maria McElroy's background in aromatherapy, Geisha Noire also fights stress, clears the thinking, and undoes the inhibitions—which is exactly how we want to feel on any given evening. Notes include black amber, sandalwood, tonka bean, and vanilla.
American-born artist Maria McElroy combines her love of blending colors and textures with her passion for scent. After receiving an MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, Maria continued her studies in Australia and became a certified aromatherapist. She then spent seven years in Japan, studying Kodo, the ancient art of fragrance, and Ikebana, Japanese flower arrangement. Her perfumery, Aroma M, is based in Brooklyn but known worldwide.
